Here is what parents are saying about their experience working with Meme:

Olivia and Lyla were fabulous zucchini noodlers and always open to try new things!

We had the wonderful experience of working with Meme this summer (2019). Over the course of 6 weeks she helped us instill and strengthen our efforts to eat clean and healthy. Meme began the process by taking me and my children’s caretaker to the grocery store – this was eye opening for me. Although I believed I knew a lot about healthy food choices, I was stunned at how much I learned and how simple Meme made the experience.  After the store visit, Meme spent hours taste testing new foods with my daughters, preparing healthy meals with them and surprising me after work with things like: conducting science experiments to see first hand the amount of sugar in certain foods, field trips to farms, farmers markets, grocery stores and even food bank shelters. The thoughtfulness and intention Meme puts into her program has changed our family’s life. It has changed how we talk about food, motivated us to try new foods, taught my daughters how to read labels and be mindful about what they put in their body. Most importantly, Meme provided a manageable framework for my family to work within to continue to make conscious and healthy food decisions. We all adore her and look forward to continuing to work with her in the years to come.

Meme Loftin worked with my family for most of last year, and we have been lucky enough to know her for many years prior when Meme was a teacher at my children’s school.  Meme is a passionate, dedicated and lovely human being who is committed to her work and to making a difference in kids’ lives.
Meme transformed the way my family and I think about food.  We already have organic, healthy eating tendencies, but Meme took our cooking, eating, snacking and meal planning to a whole new level.  She helped my children (12, 9, 7) learn to make a whole host of dinners from scratch, and they presented these meals to the family with enormous pride.
Meme helped me maximize my vegetable garden and incorporate foods that were on my children’s “do not eat list” in sneaky and delicious ways.  All of a sudden, these untouchable foods became staples.
Meme taught us about healthy meats and protein options, and also how we can appreciate and waste not a single part of an animal.  Meme’s bone broth as an example is second to none and is now a key part of our diet.
Through Meme we also learned that we were frequently eating foods that were very unhealthy— foods that were organic, from Whole Foods, and that everyone I know feeds their children.  Meme taught me to read ingredients more carefully and helped me purge our pantry of these items.  I was stunned to discover how much sugar I was inadvertently feeding my kids.  Thanks to Meme, we have made massive improvements! I consider Meme a teacher, mentor and friend and my family is lucky to know her.

Melissa Filippone, Mom of 3

For years, Meme has influenced what I feed my family in healthier ways. Her curiosity makes trying new foods a fun adventure. I think of her when I see a plate full of vibrant color – it matches her delightful personality. Meme showed me how to embrace vegetables and sneak healthy food in my growing active boys.

Amy Gilbert, Mom of 2 boys

Meme has been such a positive influence on our family – wise beyond her years. She has taught us not only what food is best for us but why it’s good for our family. My husband and I have learned so much from her and she’s who we continue to go to for food guidance. If you are what you eat, everyone would be better off with Meme in their corner!
